General Safety

• Only trained and authorized personnel may operate the embroidery machine.

• Long hair must be secured away from the machine.

Pre-Operation Inspection

• Ensure all guards and covers are properly installed.
• Inspect needles for damage or bending.
• Check hoops, frames, cap drivers, and attachments for secure mounting.
• Confirm thread paths are properly routed and tensioned.
• Verify the work area around all six heads is clear of tools and materials.

During Operation

• Keep hands, fingers, and clothing away from moving needles, reciprocating bars, and pantograph movement.
• Never reach into the sewing field while the machine is running.
• Do not attempt to clear thread breaks, replace bobbins, or adjust garments while the machine is operating.
• Stay clear of moving cap frames and hoop arms.
• Monitor machine operation from a safe distance.
• Immediately stop the machine if unusual noises, vibration, or mechanical issues occur.

Threading and Needle Changes

• Turn machine power off before replacing needles.
• Use caution when handling sharp needles.
• Dispose of broken needles in an approved sharps container.
• Verify needle orientation and installation before restarting.

Hooping and Loading Garments

• Ensure garments are properly hooped before loading.
• Keep hands clear when attaching hoops or cap frames.
• Verify garments are secured and will not interfere with moving machine components.
• Confirm all heads have adequate clearance before starting production.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Turn off power and follow lockout procedures before performing maintenance.
• Never lubricate or clean moving components while machine is running.
• Use compressed air cautiously to avoid blowing debris into eyes or electrical components.
• Clean lint, thread, and debris from the machine regularly.
• Report worn or damaged parts immediately.

Electrical Safety

• Do not operate with damaged power cords or electrical components.
• Keep liquids away from control panels and electrical connections.
• Only qualified personnel may perform electrical repairs.
• Disconnect power before servicing electrical systems.

Emergency Procedures

• Know the location and operation of all emergency stop buttons.
• Stop the machine immediately if a safety hazard develops.
• Report all injuries, equipment damage, and near misses to management.
• Do not restart equipment until the issue has been identified and corrected.

Housekeeping

• Store tools, hoops, needles, and supplies in designated locations.
